Ibrahim-Tanko Amidu is the organization’s principal technical advisor, ensuring that STAR-Ghana is utilizing, developing and applying best practices and providing inspired thought leadership within the organization. Ibrahim-Tanko has been involved in development management, civil society strengthening and social development for over 20 years. He has extensive experiences that span from facilitating strategic planning processes, design and implementation of monitoring, evaluation and learning systems, institutional strengthening of state and non-state actors at all levels of governance and programme management. He has led in the development and implementation of social development and voice and accountability programmes and projects at all levels of governance, ranging from small integrated rural development projects to the multi-donor pooled national governance fund, STAR-Ghana. Ibrahim-Tanko is a seasoned development professional and has worked extensively with the Government of Ghana, local and international Civil Society Organizations and Bilateral Aid Agencies in Ghana. He was the Team Leader of the first phase of the STAR-Ghana programme, a multi-donor pooled fund.

Hello, I am Teiko Sabah, Head of Programmes here at STAR-Ghana. This means I support the STAR-Ghana team to deliver effectively on programme objectives. To achieve this, we partner with key stakeholders such as civil society organisations, groups, networks and associations; donors; state agencies; parliament; media and the wider Ghanaian public; we support and link up local work to national and international policy discussions; we convene discussions on locally salient issues and catalyze civil society actions towards the overall goal of contributing to transformational change.

Wendy Boamah, is a highly experienced, results-driven professional with a strong operations management background and over a decade of work experience across Africa. Wendy is hands-on and comes with a track record for driving successful partnerships and new projects, managing excellent service delivery and operational development, managing a portfolio of large scale projects, maintaining business operations, managing staff and providing team leadership as well as working in start-up organizations across countries and regions.

Harriet Asomani, is responsible for the financial management and control of the Program. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACCA UK) as well as a certified Financial Modeller. She holds a certificate as a Master Project Manager and an MBA in General Administration. She has over 16 years of experience in Financial Management of International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGOs) including Marie Stopes International (MSI) Ghana and WaterAid Ghana. She is a high performing Finance executive with a proven track record of accomplishments in setting up effective and practical internal controls systems.
