Enhancing Public Integrity in the Management of Ghana' Petroleum Wealth:

Public ownership of petroleum resource management has increased by the effective participation of at least 200 CSOs, Communities and institutions nationwide in the formulation of Ghana's gas policy, monitoring of gas development impacts and implementation of gas sector plans and projects through a transparent process. 1. A publicly owned process for gas sector policy development has been initiated and public inputs incorporated into national gas policy; 2. A Multi-stakeholder process established to monitor the environmental and livelihood impacts of gas infrastructure (processing plants and pipelines) on frontline gas communities and have adopted a standard monitoring model for the gas industry. 3. The National Gas policy has been followed by the Government in the development of the gas industry.
