Technology for Maternal Health Project:
Reduced maternal mortality rate in the four project districts of Tolon, Yendi, Savelugu and Tamale by 5%. 1. The skills, knowledge and approaches of at least 72 midwives and community health nurses of 6 health facilities have been enhanced to use ICT tools to communicate maternal health information. 2. Sixty percent (60%) of expectant mothers visiting the 6 target health facilities have ready access to easy-to-understand maternal health care information much more frequently than the monthly ante-natal visits. 3. Evidence of a functional maternal health information communication system providing ready access to easy-to-understand maternal health care information to expectant mothers in 6 target health facilities in Northern Region used to lobby Ghana Health Service for scale.

Increased citizens demand for transparent and accountable financial management in the provision of maternal health services in district health facilities in Agona East, Suhum Kraboa Coaltar, Amansie West, Ejura Sekyedumase, East Mamprusi and Kpandai districts in Ghana. 2. Increased access and utilization of maternal health services in district health facilities in Agona East, Suhum Kraboa Coaltar, Amansie West, Ejura Sekyedumase, East Mamprusi and Kpandai districts in Ghana. 3. Increased and efficient spending on family planning and maternal health care at district health facilities in Agona East, Suhum Kraboa Coaltar, Amansie West, Ejura Sekyedumase, East Mamprusi and Kpandai districts of Ghana.
